Dr. Kit Tung Ip received her Bachelor of Science degree with Honours from the University of Waterloo. Following her undergraduate education, she completed her Doctorate of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, where she graduated as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. After practicing for over a decade in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Ip now brings her experience from the prestigious Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, a multidisciplinary eye care center, to Uptown Eye Specialists.

Dr. Ip’s professional interest lies in specialty and custom contact lens fitting for high prescriptions, non-satisfactory post-surgical visual outcomes or irregular corneas, prosthetics, and conventional daily contact lens wear. She also provides primary eye care services to both children and adults .Together with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, Dr. Ip made humanitarian trips to the Dominican Republic, where she administered care and dispensed glasses to the population that did not have access to eye care. Dr. Ip is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. She is thrilled to be back in her hometown of Toronto and serve the community where she grew up.
